Our vision is rooted in memories, traditions, and the deep respect we have for them.
Like many young italians, I come from a family of very good bakers and cooks who passed on old recipes, created using homegrown products.
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of my grandpa Angelo making me pasta with pesto sauce while reminiscing of his own mum teaching him the ‘proper ‘ way to make lasagna and cannelloni.
The following generation also learned from them , adding their own flair, whilst proudly passing on these often unwritten instructions.
I want to pay tribute to my families not only for their teachings but also for their unwavering encouragement and support for my Scottish venture.
Since the 1990 Football World Cup, Scotland has become a prominent feature in our family, and thanks to the Tartan Army my mum and I started our love story with our adoptive country, which has welcomed us with open arms.
With fondest appreciation, we aim to open our doors into our little Italian cafe and continue the beautiful cooperation between our countries.
